HVAC Controls Programmer

  • Program, monitor, design and install HVAC / DCC building automation systems
  • Confirm project requirements by reviewing shop drawings, input data and output requirements with application engineer, supervisor and customer

Mechanical Plan and Spec Estimator

  • Provide a competitive bid for HVAC Bid/ Spec situation or assist with the design and costing of an HVAC application as part of a Design/ Build package
  • Perform plan and spec take-offs: Review project plans, specs and contracts
  • Determine manpower requirements (union environment) to meet project schedules
  • Determine HVAC material and equipment requirements to meet project requirements
  • Insure materials, equipment and personnel required for all tasks meet the critical path requirements of the customer
  • Obtain Subcontractor quotes for areas where SCFS will not self-perform work

  • Identify Safety plans: permit and bond requirements are included in the bid

  • Insure all Bid Documents are complete. Review bids with Project Management.
